SnapWorks is a platform of business tools (including SnapMetrics and SnapDocs) operated by a parent company ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services ("Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Service.

2.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using the Service:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, password, company name, and phone number
  • Payment Information: Credit card details, billing address (processed by our payment processor)
  • Profile Information: Job title, profile photo, preferences, and settings

2.2 Information from Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services like Jobber to SnapMetrics or SnapDocs, we collect:

  • Client Data: Customer names, contact information, addresses
  • Job Data: Service requests, quotes, jobs, line items, revenue, and completion dates
  • Financial Data: Transaction amounts, payment status, invoices
  • Business Data: Lead sources, customer types, custom fields, and properties

We only access data you explicitly authorize through OAuth authentication. You can revoke this access at any time.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service:

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and actions
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, error logs, performance data

We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service:

  • Hosting: Vercel (infrastructure), Supabase (database)
  • Payment Processing: Stripe (credit card processing)
  • Email: Email service providers for transactional emails
  • Analytics: Usage analytics and error tracking services

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

4.2 Team Members

If you add team members to your organization, they will have access to your business data according to the permissions you grant.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law or to:

4.4 Business Transfers

7.1 Access and Portability

You can access your account information at any time through your settings. Since all your source data lives in your Jobber account, you always have full access to it there. We're working on adding direct export functionality from SnapMetrics for analytics reports and from SnapDocs for document templates.

7.2 Correction

You can update your account information directly through the Service settings.

7.3 Deletion

You can request account deletion from your settings. Upon deletion, your data is retained for 30 days (in case you change your mind), then permanently deleted from our systems.

7.4 Marketing Opt-Out

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any promotional email. Transactional emails (receipts, security alerts) cannot be disabled.

7.5 California Residents

Under CCPA, California residents have additional rights including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt-out of sale (note: we do not sell data).

7.6 European Residents

Under GDPR, EU residents have rights including access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and the right to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service:

  • Active Accounts: Data retained while your account is active
  • Canceled Accounts: Data retained for 30 days after cancellation
  • Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer for legal compliance
  • Aggregated Data: De-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have collected information from a child, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Jobber). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
